Float fishing is a great way to learn public waters and experience the exclusive waters that are privately held.

The float fishing opportunities vary greatly here in southwest Colorado and northern New Mexico. You can find yourself on the slow relaxing riffle-waters typical of the San Juan below Navajo Reservoir or rapid-fire casting, slapping streamers or fluffy dries to the banks and pockets of the Animas, Rio or upper San Juan.

Our experience is made up of years on the water. We have floated rivers all over this region, the country, as well as rivers in the Canadian wilderness. We know how to keep the angler in the best position to make the cast, hook, play and land the fish. If you really want a taste of the true western river experience you simply need to float. With that said, wade fishing is pretty cool too.
