San Juan Quality Water (QW) wade and floats are perfect for the new or seasoned angler. This fishery continues to spoil clients and guides alike. The rates listed above include the QW as well as a 3 mile mid float. The mid float, located down stream of the QW offers less float and wade traffic. The fishing the mid section might not be as big, but it is a great section, especially for the kids. Both floats are great trips for beginners, intermediate and experienced anglers.

Three Person Wade Trips (San Juan, Animas and streams in Colorado)

If you have an odd number of anglers in your group we recommend booking an additional guide. This is to help insure each angler receives the most attention possible and opens up more float and wade options, helping to get you and your group into the best fishing situation possible. If you have an extra angler in your group, and you do not want to add an extra guide to the trip the guide fee is an additional $175 for the day. Float trips require 1 or 2 guests per boat.

Where We Meet and the Fishing Day

Colorado trips meet in Durango, Cortez, Creede, Aztec, Navajo Dam, South Fork, Dolores or Pagosa Springs depending on the trip and fishing location. Full day trips are 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 hours long and half day trips are 4 hours. Short full days are also available for those with different needs and the occasional special situation.

Non Anglers

Non anglers are welcomed to join in on a guide trip with a spouse or friend for just $30. Tagging along works best on float trips, but is also available on wade trips. The trip will be billed at our single angler rate, plus the $30 for the extra person. On full day trips lunch is also included at no extra cost. The person tagging along is responsible for taking photos of trout and scenery.
