Southwest Colorado and San Juan River float trips
The Animas, San Juan, Rio Grande, and upper San Juan located near Pagosa Springs offer the float fisher some of the best float fishing in the west. If you really want the true western river experience you simply need to float. The float fishing opportunities vary greatly here in southwest Colorado and northern New Mexico. You can find yourself on the slow relaxing riffle-waters typical of the San Juan below Navajo Reservoir or rapid-fire casting, slapping streamers or fluffy dries to the banks and pockets of the Animas, Rio or upper San Juan.

Our experience is made up of years on the water. We have floated rivers all over this region, the country, as well as rivers in the Canadian wilderness. We know how to keep the angler in the best position to make the cast, hook, play and land the fish. All of the guides here at AvA are certified to float in Colorado and in New Mexico with countless miles and hours under our belts. Click the buttons below for float details.
